Selecting green energy as your power source is not only a wise decision but also an economic and sustainable decision. Even there are available alternative sources of energy today; there are ways that have never been considered on the past. But as of the present, there is almost an unlimited possibility of creating energy and one of them is creating a free energy at home by using DIY energy saving generators.

Over the decades, the world has been paying interest on the potentials of renewable energy. To be specific, solar and wind energies are the top two choices in this regards. As a result of the ballooning demand for these products, the prices are starting to tag down dramatically. The components and the raw materials are readily available on local hardware stores. There is the growing industry of using DIY solar panels and wind turbines. The online markets also sell these generators.

There are ready guides on how to craft DIY energy saving generators on the internet. These guides are very affordable and makes people grab the chance to devise their DIY solar panels and home wind turbines for a fraction of the price that they would spend on buying a ready made one. The opportunity results to growing number of people who start to become more practical and do their part on protecting the planet.

The new trend of these DIY energy saving generators is by making use of magnets to create an electromagnetic power source. The advantage of this new generator is that it works in all kind of weather. Unlike the solar system that depends on the amount of sunlight and the wind turbine on the amount of wind vigorously blown on an area, the magnetic generator works under all circumstances. The downside to these magnetic generators is it requires you to be skilled with talents regarding the manipulation of magnets. However there are manuals that are available to download from the internet.

These amazing generators are really the answers to the skyrocketing prices of power bills. The budgeting on power cost leaves the family unprepared for emergency expenses like when calamities occur. Aside from being free power sources, it is also clean and totally environment friendly. The use of fuels like gasoline and crude contributes greatly to the air pollution that we are experiencing today. But by using these generators, we can lessen the circulating amounts of carbon monoxide and other toxic gases that paint the air dark.

Learning how to make DIY solar panels is a fun and easy process that many home owners can take advantage of. Solar power is a renewable energy source that has many advantages over grid-power which are not only good for the environment, but for the homeowner's power bills. Initially, buying a solar power system may seem very expensive, especially in the DIY solar panel installation. With a basic knowledge of where to find the materials needed and the know-how to build solar panels, you too can reap the benefits.

Home solar power systems are not as complicated as most people assume. You can find most of the materials needed at your local hardware store and the solar cells themselves can be purchased in bulk lots off eBay. Do your homework though, research a seller on eBay and find out as much as you can about the cells you buy. Typically the cells you will want to purchase are 3x6 mono-crystalline solar cells, but be aware that these cells are very fragile and paper thin so handle with care. Once you have found a good deal on some solar cells be sure to inquire about how they will be shipped, most cells are dipped in wax to provide a more secure method of shipping them.

Also, you will find, some cells are sold with metal ribbon wire already soldered onto them and some that are not. The best option is to shop around and find solar cells that come with the metal ribbon wires already attached to save some time since soldering those ribbon wires onto the cells is a tedious and painstaking process, which adds to the possibility of damaging the cells while being handled. If you're careful though, and take your time, you can certainly achieve the desired result with minimal damage done. If you purchase cells that are dipped in wax for shipping, you can heat them in water to remove the wax.

Once you have your cells, generally you will want to connect 36 of them together to produce about 18 volts in direct sunlight. This is an adequate amount when charging 12-volt batteries and ideal for home use. The metal ribbon wire is attached to the front of the cell and you attach the excess ribbon wire to the back of the next cell with solder accordingly until you have a series of 6 cells, repeat this process 6 times to have 6 series of 6 cells each, totaling 36 cells. Your may want to find out more about the interesting topic on how to build your own solar cell.

The next step is to construct a shallow box to house the cells in series to collect sunlight. With 36 cells linked together, the option is yours as to how you wish to construct the box, using them in a series of 6 and aligning them side to side in 6 rows will roughly leave you needing a 46inch x 24inch shallow box. Use a good strong silicone material to fasten the cells and braided wiring into the box and cover it with plexiglass. You will also need to have blocking diodes in the wiring to ensure there is no discharging of the energy being collected, otherwise the wiring is pretty straightforward, just attach all the ending metal ribbon wire ends together with bare braided copper wire or the like. Before you begin sealing up your shallow box with the cells in it be sure to test the solar panel in sunlight with a volt-meter to make sure everything is working properly.

Now that you have learn how to build a solar panel, the choice is yours as to how you wish to distribute the power it generates and when more power is desired just repeat the process as many times as you like. With the proper electrical components and a special meter from your utility company, any excess power your panels generate can even be sold back to the power company making the ability to make DIY solar panels a very attractive venture.

A magnetic power generator is a device that generates power by using magnets. Having your very own home power source is everyone's dream.

However, magnetic energy is not the most popular way to generate electricity. Most people who use alternative energy sources seem to prefer solar panels. The problem is that solar panels don't even come close to the efficiency of a magnetic power generator. In most cases, the installation costs are so high, that you won't be able to see any real savings. Another problem is that in order to be able to produce your own electricity, you will need to install a big number of solar panels, which is impractical for many home owners. In most residential areas, there is simply not enough space available to install the number of units that will enable to you to see a real drop in your power bill.

On the contrary, magnetic energy is far superior to solar energy and has numerous advantages. Not only is it very cheap to install a magnetic generator, but the energy of magnets is abundant all year.
  • Take a look at a few additional benefits of magnetic power generators:
  • They can practically eliminate your power bill or at least reduce it by more than 50%.
  • They don't exude heat or harmful emissions, which makes them very friendly to the environment.
  • You can use them to produce more energy than you consume and make money by selling it to your utility company.
  • They require little or no maintenance.
  • They can work all day without getting influenced by weather conditions.
  • You won't have to worry about power cuts anymore, because these generators work independently.
  • These devices are completely safe, because they are not flammable or combustible.
  • They can be built by anyone in only a few hours even if that person has no previous experience with this kind of things.
  • You need less than $100 to buy all the necessary materials which are available at any hardware store.
Electromagnetic generators use a simple and basic technology and are probably the most cost-effective power source you can find. Sooner or later every house will be using this eco-friendly technology to save money on electricity.

Finding a reliable and easy to follow manual that will guide you through the building process is very important, if you want to learn how to build a magnetic generator on your own. A good set of plans can make the difference between success and failure.

The cost of electricity has been increasing drastically and you can simply compare your last electrical bill with that of 5 years ago. Instead of searching for a new kind of energy, let's think about reducing our electrical bills. A lot of times this possibility isn't taken into consideration, but wouldn't you be happy if you can save over 80% of your actual bill for all the next electrical bills? Click here to read more - How To Build a Solar Panel and How To Build a Magnet Motor

All you need to do is to learn how to build solar panel to produce your own electrical energy through solar panels. These solar panels take and keep the energy from the sun and turn it into usable electrical energy that we can use every day in our ordinary lives. Generally, the majority of people that knew about solar panels think that they won't benefit from its use because they just work in sunny areas. That isn't the case. In fact, the new generation of solar panels can produce a lot of electrical energy even on rainy weathers.

Learning how to build solar panel is very easy: first they need to be installed (most of the time, on the roof of homes) and then they take the energy from the rays of sunshine and convert it from solar energy to electrical energy.

Solar panels must be kept from shading, as shaded cells draw energy for themselves from other cells.

Things you need to know:

1. Solar panels using monocrystalline cells have high conversion efficiency, and take up less space, but lack shade protection.

2. Solar panels using polycrystalline cells have even higher conversion efficiency, take up even less space, but still lack shade protection.

3. Solar panels using amorphous silicon cells have lower conversion efficiency, and take up more space, but do have shade protection. This can be especially important on a sailboat.

Once you have determined the size and number of solar panels needed, you will be better able to determine where they will be placed. The best places depend on the roof's length and size of the panels. Take your time and think it through.

The simple answer to how to build solar panel is none other than using the earth for energy.

And remember, when building your solar panels, select locations that will get maximum sunlight without shaded spots. In placing solar panels, consider the use of extra bars/braces to secure the panels. You obviously want them to remain stable.

For homeowners considering installing solar power systems but wary of the expense, Jose Radzinsky, president and CEO of Renewable Power Solutions Inc. has some useful suggestions.

In the recent news, Jose Radzinsky, president and CEO of Renewable Power Solutions Inc., suggests starting with a baby step: install just a few panels, enough to power one or two appliances, to determine whether solar power is the best choice.

Renewable Power Solutions offers an affordable introduction to solar power. As an alternative to its full-scale installations, the company installs three to six solar panels, enough to generate approximately 1.2 kilowatts of electricity. Later, if the homeowner is satisfied with the results from the first installation, Solutions can continue to expand the system in small steps.

According to Radzinsky, the cost depends somewhat on the roof type. Composition or wood shingles are easy to work with, he said, but tile roofs are more complicated. Before rebates, the cost varies from approximately $7,200 to $7,500, with the after-rebate price approximately $5,000. The only factor likely to prevent a rebate would be a tax lien on the property. Renewable Power Solutions charges the customer the after-rebate price, then the company prepares the rebate paperwork and keeps the rebate check when it comes.

Tax incentives and energy-bill savings would eventually offset the $5,000 cost of the installation, Radzinsky said, with expected electricity-bill savings totaling $35-$40 per month. The 1.2-kilowatt system would power one or two appliances, depending on the amount of power the homeowner draws.

A solar photovoltaic system is one which takes light from the sun and turns if into electricity. In doing so, it produces no emissions or harmful waste, and does so completely silently!

None of this would be possible if it hadn't been for the work of French Physicist Edmund Becquerel, who in 1839, discovered the photovoltaic effect. In fact, Becquerel is a bit of an inspiration for young Evil Geniuses wanting to experiment with solar energy, as he made his discoveries when he was only 19! In 1883, Charles Fritts, an American inventor, devised the first practical solar cell, when he took some selenium and covered it with a fine coating of gold.

His cell wasn't particularly efficient, with 1% or so conversion efficiency from light to electricity; however, his design of cell later found applications as a sensor in early cameras to detect the light level-being used to 'sense' light rather than to generate power in any real quantity. Albert Einstein went on to further develop the theory of the nature of light and the mechanism through which the photoelectric effect works, the discovery was considered so important that he won the Nobel Prize in 1905.

Due to their high cost and low deficiency at that time, there were a lack of applications for photovoltaic cells. It was not until Bell Laboratories started looking at the idea again in the 1930s that Russell Ohl discovered the silicon photovoltaic cell. This device was patented as Patent no: US2402662 'Light sensitive device.' Now the efficiency of solar cells began to increase.

The first generation of practical solar cells was horrendously expensive, and this severely limited their range of applications. The advantages of using photovoltaic cells to turn sunlight into electrical power were initially appreciated for powering satellites and space-missions. With the space race of the 195s and 196s, there was suddenly a good application for solar cells-despite the cost, solar cells were suitable for generating energy in the remote reaches of space. Vanguard I was launched on March 17, 1958, and was the first artificial satellite to employ solar photovoltaic cells.

With the injection of funding and research that came with the space race, solar photovoltaic cells began to come into their own. Over the years that followed, solar photovoltaic technologies have been refined and developed and new techniques, and we will explore these now.

Find out how you can harness energy with the use of a magnetic energy generator to produce electrical current that can be put to work to power your house or your business.

Magnets are polarized and as a result, there's a inherent attraction for opposite poles and a inherent repulsion for same polls. By placing these like and opposite polls in an alternating order, you are able to supply motion, which can be converted into electricity.

In general, a magnetic energy generator harnesses the magnetic force to create continual motion. The generator, once started, operates by itself and while the magnets maintain their polarity, the system will continue running.

A magnetic energy generator doesn't need a huge amount of space and can be set up in a garden shed or in a use room in the home. Although it might not realistically be ready to run your entire home, subject to on your monthly utilization of power, it will however be ready to cut back your regular debts significantly with people testifying to a decrease of up to 60%

Unlike the other alternative power generators such as wind turbines and solar systems, magnetic generators not dependent on external factors like weather and sunlight and will work in any location under any climatic conditions.

It is perfectly safe for the family to have it positioned in a convenient position and has no negative effects on growing children.

The advantage of building one yourself is that you will understand the basics of the system and will be able to guarantee its smooth running for years to come.

This is an excellent stand alone system to carry out into your house in order to generate clean, free energy. With this small investment, you will easily be ready to generate more electricity than your house needs and may be able to earn from your investment.
